I spent the morning gimmering around at home, and then cycled into Slough to get some cleaning stuff from Tesco, and to make sure that I got to use my money off vouchers before they expired. Unfortunately, I forgot to use the voucher for tea, but I did get given another voucher for cheese. The Prof arrived at Langley at about 16:15, and walked to my place. After about 15 minutes, I suddenly realised that he'd be struggling with heavy bags, so I walked towards the station to meet him. He was, indeed, struggling, and appreciated the belated offer of help. We dropped the bags off, and then went to the Harvester to sit outside, drink beer, perve at totty, and put the world to rights. We decided against a curry, because it was so nice outside, but, after two pints, headed back to my place so that Prof could check his flight times, and I could burn him a CD of all of our America pictures. We did this, and then went back to the Harvester for beer and food. It was still light when we finished eating, but, for a change of scenary, we went to the Toby for a few more beers. There seems something wrong about leaving the pub when it's still light, so we stayed for two more.
Back at my gaff, I had a quick cuppa (Prof sensibly had water), before we called it a night. Apart from a few text messages from the Windsor bird, I also had a text message from FreeCyclingBird asking when we could meet up again. Excellent!
