What is on What Floor at Heathrow Terminal 5 (2008-03-30)

It took me a while to figure out what's on what floor at T5, but it's very simple really:
Basement - Heathrow Express and Underground.
Ground Floor - Arrivals
First Floor - BA Lounges
Second Floor - Offices
Third Floor - Departures

Whatever you do, don't try using the escalators to get between arrivals and departures - you'll end up getting stuck on either the first or second floors. Just use the lifts - it's much easier. I used the up escalator from the ground floor, and found two more escalators to choose from - one coming down from the 2nd floor, and one going back down to the ground floor!

Both the Tube and Heathrow Express are very well signposted from Terminal 5 - just watch out for the glass floor by the lifts. It's see-through, and very scary if, like me, you're scared of heights.

Wasn't that glass floor horrible? It's in front of some of the escalators, too! I had to just look ahead and walk quickly.
