Security Checks at Airports (2008-02-25)

Why do people always wait until the last minute to sort out their things at the security checks at airports. They've just been queuing in a long queue with nothing else to do, but they only start sorting out their bags once they actually get to the conveyor-belt. The queues would be far shorter if people actually thought about what they were doing.
