After a long weekend diving, I quite fancied a Chinese, so drove back home via the cheap Chinese take-away that's open on a Sunday. Outside the Chinese, there were about a dozen people shouting and arguing, and things looked as if they were about to turn nasty. I was a bit worried about leaving a car full of dive kit there, but did anyway. While I was waiting for my food to be cooked, I realised that The Best of Spitting Image was on, so I watched a bit of it. The first clip was my all-time favourite. President Regan was kissing Maggie Thatcher goodbye, and, after she had got on the plane back to London, he muttered "What a fine looking woman. Pity I'm only screwing her country". I didn't bother watching much more, since I knew there'd be a good quality 2GB MPEG file waiting for me at home. Two police cars had turned up while I'd been in the Chinese, and things were beginning to calm down.

After unloading the car, I ate my Chinese while watching the 10 o'clock news (on the BBC News website, since it was way past 22:00).
